If any of you have been following me for some time, you will know by now that I am a huge iGOT7. I’m such a huge fan that I drove to Canada with my cousin to see them in concert. So, when it was announced that Youngjae Colors From Ars The First Mini-Album was being released, I obviously bought it. Keep reading to find out what comes with the album, my thoughts, and where you can pick up a copy.

Things to know about the Youngjae Colors From Ars The First Mini-Album:

YOUNGJAE 1ST MINI ALBUM - COLORS FROM ARS – SubK Shop

Released on October 5th, 2021, Colors from Ars is the first release from the main vocalist of GOT7 since his departure from JYP Entertainment at the beginning of 2021. Accompanied by the music video for the song “Vibin'”, the album peaked at number 6 on the Gaon Album Weekly Chart. The album ties together Youngjae, the singer, and Ars, the composer and lyricist so that everyone can see all sides of him, like colors of the rainbow.

K-Points: 286/5

You can tell when listening to this album that this is more than just an album for Yougjae. Under his pseudonym Ars, Youngjae has writing and composition credits on every single track of this album. This album is his heart and soul. I think that makes this album even more special. The photobook matches this concept because the photos are simple and not overdone. They are all just Youngjae. For these reasons, I think this album is one that is definitely worth getting.

If you want to watch me fangirl, I do also post reactions over on my YouTube Channel. I have posted one for GOT7 Not By the Moon, which you can watch below:

Where Can I Buy It?

I picked up my copy of this album Music Plaza LA. You can get a copy here for $26.99, plus shipping. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase! You can also order a copy of the album from eBay, as they typically have good prices. This link will help you with your search. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the Rakuten extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.

What is Rakuten?

Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over $80 back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers on there as well!

Rakuten also has a Google Chrome extension that will tell you as soon as you log onto a site that has cashback with a little pop-up in the corner so that you can ensure you are saving money!

Can I get it on Amazon?

Yes! You can pick up a copy using this link for about 28 dollars, with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime. If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30-day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2-day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle Paper White too, and it is honestly a lifesaver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the Kindle library. The program costs $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.
