5 K-Pop Albums With A LOT Photocards

When you open an album right after you get it, searching for the photo cards inside the album is like searching for the prize at the bottom of your Rice Krispies. They are the thing that gives you something special from your favorite idol that you can cherish. Plus, you can collect them like Pokémon cards, put them in a binder and show your friends all of the cards you have. So, today I’m going to take a moment to highlight some of the albums (or artists) that release albums with the highest number of photo cards.

4 Photocards and a Sticker: Seventeen An Ode

With 13 members in the group, Seventeen needs to give fans multiple photocards just for them to have a chance of getting their favorite one! Because of this, typically, their albums are relatively generous on the photocard front. Each album usually has at least 2-3 cards, whereas An Ode has 4 plus a member-specific sticker. So, if you want to maybe see more photo cards, check out Seventeen.

4-9 Photocards: ITZY Crazy in Love

Ryujin Version – Photocards & Polaroids (includes Special card) – Front

Although not all photocards, the ITZY Crazy in Love album comes with quite a few cards with the members on them. If you get the album, it comes with 2 photocards, plus two polaroids of the members. On top of that, if you pre-ordered a copy, you can get a full extra set of photos, one of each member. All of the photos are incredibly cute too!

24 Photocards: LAY Namanana

The remaining Chinese member of EXO, LAY produced an album with an extraordinary number of photo cards. He managed to create 24 photocards in his Namanana album, each photo being Lay’s interpretation of one of the major arcana from the Ryder-Waite tarot. Out of all of the photocards that I have seen, this one takes the cake. It’s incredibly well done and follows a very clear theme that you don’t see with most photo cards. One thing I will note: if you want the smaller photo card size, these are not that. They are the size of a tarot card.

5-13 Photocards per album: Every TWICE Album

Photocards – Front

The one K-Pop group that always takes the cake with the high number of photo cards they give you is TWICE. Almost every album includes 5 or 6 photo cards. Plus, if you pre-order the albums, you almost always get a full set of photo cards that has photos of each of the girls. So, if you pre-order the album, you are guaranteed to get at least 1 photo of your favorite member. This has been the pattern for every single Twice release since at least their Signal release in 2017. So, if you want a lot of photo cards, check for a TWICE pre-order.

… Just all the Cards: HEIZE Happen

Album Contents

Honestly, the HEIZE Happen album is just chock full of cards in a box. Photocards, Lyric Cards, Postcards, you name it, this album has it. This album has 20 photocards, 8 lyric cards, 7 postcards, 9 MV postcards, and 8 see-through lyric cards. If I can do math correctly, that is 52 different types of cards in total. Yes, I know they aren’t regular photo cards, but it’s a lot of cards, so I’m including it anyway.

If you want to check out the album, you can do so here.
