Since the departure of Jae from JYP, I have been very curious about the future of DAY6 and what kinds of things we could be seeing from the group going forward. All of the members are incredibly talented and I know they will be successful in whatever they do, so when I started seeing solo releases from the members, I knew I needed them. Released on September 6th, 2021, this mini-album was Young K’s final hoorah before starting his mandatory military service requirement. Eternal features 6 tracks, and the single “Guard You”, which topped at 29 on the Gaon Download Chart. Meanwhile, the mini-album topped at number 8 on the Gaon Album Chart.

Honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything done by Young K. He is an amazing musical artist as well as a composer. I really like how we are finally getting something highlighting just Young K, even if it is just as a “goodbye” present for close to 2 years. Plus, if you buy the physical album, you get one extra goodbye present, as there is an album exclusive track that you cannot stream! Which definitely makes the album worth buying.
