Tony Moly Chok Chok Green Tea Moisturizer Review

tony moly green tea chok chok moisturizer

I’m not going to lie, whenever companies say “we put tea in this!” I’m automatically tempted to purchase it. I love tea… a lot. All varieties of it are enjoyed by me too. Naturally, when I say the Tony Moly Chok Chok Green Tea Moisturizer, I immediately said “mine” and threw it in my shopping cart. What can I say? I have a tea addiction! It’s a great addition to the K-Beauty Products I’ve tried.

Things to Know about the Tony Moly Chok Chok Green Tea Moisturizer:

  • The main ingredient of this moisturizer is a special kind of Korean Green Tea called ChungTaeJeon (청태전) which is a fermented tea (just like how Kimchi is fermented). Just like with kimchi, this increases the potency of the good stuff in the tea.
  • Studies have show that green tea, in general is very high in antioxidants which help remove bad stuff from your body, such as pollution and UV damage.
  • This product also contains lemon seed oil and rosewood oil (which are for soothing, and make this product smell AWESOME)
  • This product also absorbs into the skin quite quickly so you do not need too much of it

K-Points: 9/10

Honestly, I love this product. It smells wonderful and is scented with all natural oils. On top of that, the ingredient deck is short, sweet, and to the point. Nothing in the product is aggressive on the skin. For that reason I will continue to use it, as I do really enjoy it.

So, why did I deduct 1 point? For anyone with sensitive skin, the fragrance could be a bit bothersome as it is quite strong. That being said, it is all-natural, so it may not cause any irritation. I have no issues with any of it, and I love how it makes my skin feel.

Should you purchase this product? I personally think so. It is reasonably priced and it is very gentle on the skin. I even put it in the fridge so it feels extra good when I rub it all over my face! Should you be wary, I personally don’t think so, but with the scent, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Where Can I Buy it?

This product is one of those new addictions. I picked this product up off of Sokoglam for $24.50. Here is a link. . Sokoglam also offers Cashback through Rakuten.

What is Rakuten?

Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over $80 back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers on there as well!

Rakuten also has a Google Chrome extension that will tell you as soon as you log onto a site that has cashback with a little pop-up in the corner so that you can ensure you are saving money!

You can also purchase this product off of Amazon for $25 here plus free shipping if you are a Prime member.

If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30 day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2 day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle paper white too, and it is honestly a life saver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the kindle library. The program cost $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.
