I am honestly obsessed with Webtoons, so when I saw that there was going to be a K-Drama focused on a Webtoon company, I was sold. The drama made me smile, it made me cry, and it made me love Webtoons more. So, I had to pick up a copy of the Today’s Webtoon (오늘의 웹툰) OST Album. Keep reading to find out what comes with the album, my thoughts, and where you can pick up a copy.
Things to know about the Today’s Webtoon (오늘의 웹툰) OST Album:
Airing from July 29th, 2022 through September 17th, 2022, Today’s Webtoon follows the story of On Ma-eum (Kim Sejeong) who is a former judo athlete that decides to become an employee at an Webtoon Company after retiring due to a tramatic experience. The series’ actors won awards for Best New Actor (Kim Dohoon), Best Supporting Actor (Park Hosan) at the Korean Dramam Awards. The drama also won the Scene Stealer Award (Im Chulsoo) and was nominated for a Best Support Actor Award (Park Hosan) and Top Excellence Award (Choi Daniel) at the SBS Drama Awards.

This entire drama warmed my heart. It reminded me of what I love about webtoons. It brought me so many emotions. It told some beautiful stories. More than anything, the soutrack perfectly complemented the story that the cast and crew of the film was trying to tell. And on top of all of that, I love how they brought the artwork of the Webtoons into the album itself. It is beautiful.
