Seventeen You Make My Day Album Unboxing

Seventeen You Make My Day

Seventeen has always been a group that manages to impress me. Not only are they all extremely talented musically, but they are basically self-producing, with some help from Bumzu. As such when Seventeen You Make My Day was announced, I did have to pick up a copy. If you didn’t read my review of the mini-album, you would know that I was quite impressed with the album. If you didn’t read it, you can do so here.

I did pre-order copies of this album, as Seventeen has yet to disappoint me musically, off of Choice Music. You can get a set of all 3 versions of the album here for $50.99, plus shipping, which isn’t bad. You can also get one for $17.99 plus shipping here. On Amazon, you can pick up one from$20.50 plus free shipping as a Prime member here.

If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30 day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2 day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle paper white too, and it is honestly a life saver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the kindle library. The program cost $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.

Things to Know About Seventeen you Make my Day:

  • There are 3 versions:
    • Meet
    • Follow
    • Set the Sun
  • Each album comes with the following:
    • CD
    • 96 page photobook
    • 16 page lyric book
    • Lenticular Photo card(39 types, 13 for each version)
    • 2 regular photo cards (78 types, 26 for each version)
    • You can also get a poster (3 versions) I opted out of those, as I don’t have space for any more posters
  • All of the photos are clean, and summery, some of the photos even have a bit of a retro vibe, like it popped out of the 90s
  • I like how the album closes! To ensure it doesn’t flap open, they made the CD be the top close, and the picture be the one underneath. So clever.
  • The lenticular photocards (the big square ones) show two different images of the members: one of them just standing, and then a lounging pose.
  • I’m not sure how I feel about the color scheme for the albums. It doesn’t feel cohesive

K-Points: 489/5

I enjoy the packaging for this album, but if I had to compare it to other releases, like Director’s Cut or Teen, age, I like those Seventeen album’s packaging better. That doesn’t mean I do not like this, I just like those two far better. I also like the music on those albums slightly better as well.

Should you buy this album? If you are a huge Seventeen fan, absolutely. If you need to only buy 1 Seventeen album though, and you do not own any, get Director’s Cut or Teen, age. The music is spectacular, and the albums themselves are beautiful. Can you just stream this album? Totally. I still really appreciate ALL of Seventeen’s work .They excel at composition, and their vocalist are very good.
