Seventeen (세븐틴) Director’s Cut Album Unboxing

seventeen directors cut

If you all read my little mini review of the Seventeen special album repackage, Director’s Cut (you can read it here), you would know that I am quite fond of of the original version of the album, as well as the new tracks that were introduced. So of course I bought copies of the albums cause Seventeen are adorable little baby nuggets.

I do a lot of my album shopping on Music Plaza LA. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase!

You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.

What is E-Bates?

E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Ebates, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used EBates before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using EBates. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Sokoglam typically has 3%. These percentages Many other major retailers are on there as well.

    • Envelope with 4 big photocards
    • Holographic small photocard
    • Selfie Photocard

  • The photobooks are cute.
  • The Plot version has photos of them doing cute “behind-the-scenes-yet-100-percent-posed” shots. In all of them, they just look like they are going about their daily lives, including eating.
  • The Sunset version has more posey pretty shots of them.

K-Points: 495/5

I didn’t like freakout when I got these photo books, but I love how they add all these little extras for the fans. I think it really makes it a special treat, especially since the point of this album was to thank the fans. It’s nice to see them eating, and relaxing since we know they work so hard to bring us the music we love.

Should you buy a physical copy of this album? Absolutely. Especially if you are a fan of Seventeen. The photos are clean, and well done, and they added a bunch of extra little treats. Which one of the two should you buy? Plot, because there are pictures of them eating. Which is important. Either way, both are good, and if you feel inclined, you will not regret having both of them, as Seventeen is adorable.
