JBJ True Colors EP Album Unboxing

jbj true colors

We have had a lot of album unboxings of late, I know, but I have lots of new albums to write about and tell you about. If you remember, back in January I did a review of the JBJ True Colors mini-album, and I wasn’t too thrilled with it. I still ordered the album, cause it was colorful, and I’m going to tell you what I think.

I do a lot of my album shopping on Music Plaza LA. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase!

You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.

What is E-Bates?

E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Ebates, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used EBates before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using EBates. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Sokoglam typically has 3%. These percentages Many other major retailers are on there as well.

Things to know about the JBJ True Colors album:

  • There are 2 volumes:
  • Things that come with the album:
    • CD
    • Photobook (about 100 pages)
    • Photocard of one of the members
    • Photobooth sticker
  • Both photo shoots feature them with a white backdrop and then splashes of colors (different colors for each member)

K-Points: 78/5

I was honestly seriously underwhelmed by the packaging of this album. None of the photos were overwhelmingly exciting, and it didn’t seem super exciting for the fans either, as I don’t think it is really worth it to buy both versions since the photos are all so similar. On top of that, after I opened the album my thought was along the lines of…. “wait… this is it? This is all that’s in it?” It was just really a disappointing packaging, as it didn’t even really have much of a concept.

Should you buy a copy of this album? I personally think not, as the music was underwhelming, as was the album itself.  Save your money for a more exciting album, as there are so many more amazing ones out there. This one is not one of them.

Are there an album that you regret buying, K-Nuggets?

사랑합니다!
