Seventeen Going Seventeen Unboxing

seventeen going seventeen

When Seventeen’s comeback was released last month, I ran out of space on my Seventeen shelf (unboxing and review), which meant they all came off and were photographed. This include my copy of Seventeen Going Seventeen. The album was released in 2016, so it’s been two years since we have seen this side of Seventeen! Of course I like all sides to Seventeen.

I did pick up my copy on Amazon, but you can get it on Choice Music for $18.99 plus shipping and handling (They do ship worldwide). You can pick it up here. You can also get a copy on Amazon for $24.99 with free shipping (Note: this is for the version shown below). This free shipping is, of course, if you are a Prime member, and here’s the link.

If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30 day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2 day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle paper white too, and it is honestly a life saver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the kindle library. The program cost $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.

Things to know about Seventeen Going Seventeen:

  • There are 3 versions of this album (all linked to Amazon):
  • Things that come with this album:
    • CD
    • 124 page photo booklet
    • 8 page lyric paper
    • Boarding declaration
    • A poster (if you want it, some places have it, others don’t)
    • Member Card (39 versions, 13 for each version)
    • Unit photocard 10 versions
    • Paddle bookmark 17 versions (1 for each member, unit versions, and full group. I’m making an assumption for the last two)
  • Yet again, Seventeen has managed to make a great photo book. I love how the images have a slightly vintage feel, like they popped out of some artsy version of my parent’s college days that have less booze.
  • I also like how there is a nautical bookmark for us readers
  • This album also appeals to the Delta Gamma in me. It is nautical themed, and our symbol is an anchor.

K-Points: 573/5

Honestly, I love this album. I love the music, the photobook, and everything that comes with it. I also love the theme that they chose for the album. It’s summery, and nautical. I love all the extra little touches that they added into the theme as well, like the embarkation card-thingie and the oar bookmark.

Should you buy a copy of this? Well, the price for it isn’t bad, and on top of that, you get a lot of things for the price! If you are deciding  between this album and one for a group that you die over, stick with the group that you die over. Should you still stream it? Absolutely! It is a good album, and the music on it is great.
