Peripera X Teteum Version 1 Collection Review

Cute things are something that I have a secretly open passion for. If I see something cute, I will almost immediately buy it. Additionally, I live for a good collab. So, when I saw that there was going to be a Peripera X Teteum Collection, I took it as an opportunity to try some new products. Keep reading to learn more about the collection, my and the Koreans’ thoughts, and where you can find one yourself.

K-Points: 10/10

So, for beauty reviews, unlike my album unboxings, I will be much harsher because this can directly impact your health, where buying K-Pop albums does not. It just impacts your wallet. As such, all of my beauty reviews will be out of 10 points. I will not be going over that number.

Every single product in this collection are products that I reach for almost every time I wear makeup. That being said, I will still go through each of these products individually:

  • The Oil Capture Cooling Powder has quickly become my favorite face powder. When you have dry skin, it is incredibly challenging to find a face powder that you can use without it aggressively drying out your face, making it feel tight and awful. This is one of the only powders I have ever found that doesn’t make my face feel uncomfortable. On top of that, it doesn’t get clumpy or make my skin look awful. They say it is specifically for oil capture, but I honestly think this works for all skin types.
  • The Sugar Twinkle Liquid Glitters are also products that I reach for consistently. With most of my makeup looks, I like to put some glitter on the inner corners to open the eyes up more. These glitters, as well as the entire line of them, are the ones I almost consistently reach for. The glitters aren’t aggressively large, but look absolutely lovely around the eyes just adding that little bit of twinkle. Additionally, I love the applicator because it is so small and perfect for use around the inner part of the eye.
  • The Ink Thin Brush Liner is another product that (before I used most of it up) I would reach for consistently. The brush on the end of it makes eyeliner application a breeze. I can easily add my cat flick without worrying about it quickly getting too thick. Also, if you like a little bit more of a buildable eyeliner formula, this one is definitely that. It’s not watery, but it also isn’t the most aggressive black you can put around your eyes, which is great for a more gentle look.
  • The Pure Blushed Sunshine Cheek in #02 Milk Tea Coral is also another product that I reach for, but only when I am doing a warm-toned eyeshadow look. As a very fair person, this shade actually works pretty well with my skin tone, and the formula is very easy to layer. That being said, it does kick up a lot of powder when you first put a brush in it.

What are the Koreans saying?

I was digging through reviews on 화해 (Hwahae)*, a Korean skincare app that lists out the ingredients of products from many brands for people to look through as well as post reviews. So, instead of going through and talking about what the Koreans thought since there are 5 products, I will rank all 5 in order based on the number of reviews and stars.

X in Order of Popularity:
  1. The Pure Blushed Sunshine Cheek in #02 Milk Tea Coral (4.46 out of 5 stars – 28 reviews)
  2. The Oil Capture Cooling Powder (3.62 out of 5 stars – 8 reviews)
  3. The Ink Thin Brush Liner in 01 Black (4.2 out of 5 stars – 5 reviews Note: the brown shade is much more highly ranked. My guess is that is due to people preferring the brown shade daily to black)
  4. Sugar Twinkle Liquid Glitter in 04 Bubble Sparkling & 05 Rhythmical Balloon are not ranked, as they were limited edition, but the other colors in this range are higher ranked than all of these products.

Where Can I Buy It?

Whenever I buy K-Beauty, I do shop at a couple of different places. If you want to see all of the places that I shop at, you can check them all out here.  I picked these up at a number of different places, including Style Korean and Olive Young. With a number of the places I shop for cosmetics at, you can also use Rakuten for cash back off of your purchases on their site.

What is Rakuten?

Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over $80 back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers on there as well!

Rakuten also has a Google Chrome extension that will tell you as soon as you log onto a site that has cashback with a little pop-up in the corner so that you can ensure you are saving money!

Which product from this line would you be most likely to try, K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments below!

사랑합니다!

*Note: 화해 still only exists in Korean, but some of the products can be searched for in English.
