All 17 Shades of the Peripera Pure Blushed Sunshine Cheek Review

I am always looking for good blushes. As a very fair person, I’ve discovered that most western brands, although they make very nice blush, are so pigmented that they are challenging for me to wear as a fair person. Thankfully, I’ve discovered that Korean blushes work relatively well for my skin tone and you can get a more sheer look with them. As such, when I found the whole Peripera Pure Blushed Sunshine Cheek line on sale, I had to buy all of them. Keep reading to learn more about the blush shades, my and the Koreans’ thoughts, and where you can find one yourself.

K-Points: 9/10

So, for beauty reviews, unlike my album unboxings, I will be much harsher because this can directly impact your health, where buying K-Pop albums does not. It just impacts your wallet. As such, all of my beauty reviews will be out of 10 points. I will not be going over that number.

I really like these blushes overall. The shades can suit a variety of times of day, locations, and seasons. On top of that, they are incredibly buildable, and a little does go a long way. Additionally, Peripera came out with shades for every skin tone, as some of them definitely suit deeper skin tones as well. The only reason that I am docking a point for these is that they do kick up a decent bit of powder when you put a brush in it.

What are the Koreans saying?

I was digging through reviews on 화해 (Hwahae)*, a Korean skincare app that lists out the ingredients of products from many brands for people to look through as well as post reviews. So, instead of going through and talking about what the Koreans thought since there are 8 blushes, I will rank all of them in order based on the number of reviews and stars. Also, I included the release date of the palettes so that you can that into account with the number of reviews.

All 8 blushes in Order of Popularity:
  1. #06 Morning Blush (4.7/5 stars – 162 reviews, released spring 2021)
  2. #07 Milky Peach (4.62/5 – 129 reviews, released spring 2021)
  3. #16 Acorn Beige (4.80/5 – 40 reviews, released fall 2022)
  4. #12 Sunny Pink (4.84/5 stars – 50 reviews, released spring 2022)
  5. #01 Calm Pink (4.69/5 stars – 72 reviews, released summer 2020)
  6. #17 Rosy Brown (4.86/5 stars – 28 reviews, released fall 2022)
  7. #11 Picnic Pink (4.66/5 stars – 29 reviews, released spring 2022)
  8. #13 Nice Pink (4.75/5 stars – 20 reviews, released spring 2022)
  9. #02 Milk Tea Coral (4.47/5 stars – 38 reviews, released summer 2020)
  10. #05 Dusty Rose (4.55/5 stars – 20 reviews, released summer 2020)
  11. #04 Hazel Orange (4.74/5 stars – 26 reviews, released summer 2020)
  12. #08 Cotton Nude (4.60/ 5 stars – 5 reviews, released spring 2021)
  13. #03 Afternoon Red (4.33/5 stars – 3 reviews, released summer 2020 – this most likely has few reviews due to the deeper shade)

*Excluding the Gosim Collection shades as they are right now believed to be limited edition

Where Can I Buy It?

Whenever I buy K-Beauty, I do shop at a couple of different places. If you want to see all of the places that I shop at, you can check them all out here.  I picked these up at a number of different places, including Style Korean and Olive Young. With a number of the places I shop for cosmetics at, you can also use Rakuten for cash back off of your purchases on their site.

What is Rakuten?

Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over $80 back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers on there as well!

Rakuten also has a Google Chrome extension that will tell you as soon as you log onto a site that has cashback with a little pop-up in the corner so that you can ensure you are saving money!

Which shade of these blushes are you into, K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments down below!

사랑합니다!

*Note: 화해 still only exists in Korean, but some of the products can be searched for in English.
