So, when I saw that some of the members were being featured in the drama Imitation, I had to get copies of the OST for myself. Things to know about the Imitation Shax & Sparkling Original Soundtrack (OST) Album:
Shax and Sparkling are fictitious boy groups from the show Imitation that is an adaptation of the webtoon of the same name. It aired in May and June of 2021. After looking at the reception of the show, it only had 0.8% ratings on KBS2 and is the second-lowest overall ratings for free TV, with 대장금이 보고 있다 (Dae Jang-geum is Watching) being the lowest. Note: I actually really enjoyed Dae Jang-geum is Watching and have rewatched it, but that is because I like Lee Minhyuk from BTOB and shows about cooking.

K-Points: 3/5
So, as some of you may know, I never give my albums below a score of 5 K-Points. They always go over. This one though had some issues with the manufacturing and quite frankly, sloppy production of it that is causing me to drop the score quite a bit. The main one is that the tracklist that is listed on both albums does not actually match what is on the CD itself. Additionally, the tracks that are one the CD, there is no way of knowing what they actually are because there are no titles associated with them when you import the CD. Every track simply says “Track 01”, “Track 02”, etc. Both versions also have a different number of tracks, so there is no way to tell which tracks are actually on them. Additionally, the packaging feels a bit cheap, like it was slapped together. Overall, I was extremely disappointed, since i was looking forward to seeing and hearing the members of ATEEZ who were featured in this show.

So should you get yourself a copy of this album? Honestly, no. This album is not worth buying a copy of for the errors with the tracklist alone. That being said, you should definitely stream the music from the OST online, as those do have the tracklist information with it.
