Since I know that right now is a depressing time for EXO-Ls as our boy Xiumin is heading into the military for 21 months, I figured I could brighten it up a little bit. My copies of EXO’s Chen April and Flower have finally arrived at my home, and I’m excited to share it with you all. Hopefully, this will lighten your hearts a little in this dark time.

- I love how the flower version has lots of little sayings in Korean, scattered all through it. It’s really cute. Some of them are even written by Chen himself.

Honestly, I am just so happy that Chen finally came out with a solo album. He is such an excellent singer that it’s about time! On top of that, I love how simple and clean the photo books are. I think it really allows the music and Chen to shine through. I also love how the CDs and the album cover match each other. Every little detail was thought through with this release.
So should you get yourself a copy of this album? For the beautiful ballads alone, I personally think it is worth getting a copy. As for which version, well, both photo books are fantastic. Pick whichever one speaks to you. Should you stream it? Since I know albums are expensive, streaming it is a good alternative to having the physical copy.
