BTS Map of the Soul: Persona Unboxing

BTS Map Of The Soul Persona

My copies of BTS Map of the Soul: Persona have finally arrived! My hands couldn’t be happier to have these in front of me. Thankfully, just like we learned in preschool, sharing is caring. So, I’m going to help all of you make an informed decision on which version of the album to get. There’s 4 so it’s hard, I know.

I did order all four copies of the album from Music Plaza in LA. This is a link to the exact one I’ve ordered. I got all 4 copies for $69.99 plus shipping. This link will get you 5% off.

You can also pick it up from eBay using this link here for 19.99 plus shipping. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.

What is E-Bates?

E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Ebates, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used EBates before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using EBates. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Sokoglam typically has 3%. These percentages Many other major retailers are on there as well.

Can I get it on Amazon?

Yes! You can pick up a copy using this link here  for 21 dollars (not as good of a deal), with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime.

If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30-day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2-day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle Paper White too, and it is honestly a life saver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the Kindle library. The program cost $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.

Things to know about the BTS Map of the Soul: Persona Album:

  • There are 4 versions of this album (shown in order):
    • 1
    • 2
    • 3
    • 4
  • Things that come with the album:
    • CD
    • Photobook (76 pages)
    •  Mini book (20 pages)
    • Photocard (28 total, 7 for each version, 1 of each member)
    • Postcard (7 versions)
    • Clear Photo Picket (1 version)
    • Photo Film (1 version)
    • Poster (I opted out)
  • The film strips are the same in every version. Honestly, they are really cute!
  • V’s bright blue hair gives me life, especially in the blue hair with the blue pajamas.
  • Out of all the versions, I think Version 2 is my favorite. I do really like the photos of Jimin with the balloon too.
  • One annoying thing about these albums, they aren’t the same size as the Love Yourself Series. They are probably a half inch larger, so I couldn’t stick them on the stack with my existing albums, so they needed a new spot.

K-Points: 44/5

You all know that I love BTS. I think that their music is fantastic. I love how it explores the inner workings of humanity, and la vie quotidienne. They’re incredibly relatable and these photobooks are as well display that relatable every day life. It’s something I feel like BTS hasn’t shown us before. On top of that, they did it all in a cute, fun way.

So should you get yourself a copy of this album? I definitely think it is worth it. BTS are doing something special, and they are breaking down barriers all over the world. It makes all of their albums truly special. If you are going to pick a version, I would pick Version 2. I feel like the pajama photos are adorable, and will make many of you smile with delight. Should you stream it? If you read my review of the music, you will know that I thought the music was absolutely fantastic and 100% worth streaming.
