Bomibox June ’18 Unboxing

bomibox june

If you all saw a number of my previous posts, you would know that I used to subscribe to a bi-monthly subscription  service called Pink Seoul, after getting that for about 8 months, I wasn’t very happy with it. It always came squashed in the mail, the product selection inside the box didn’t wow me, so I decided to cancel it, and subscribed to Bomibox instead. Bomibox is a monthly subscription service, so this is Bomibox June.

This month is the first month that I am receiving it, but if you would like to subscribe you can do so here. The box costs $37.99 a month, and it gives you 8 items in it, half full-sized, half sample-sized. They also offer Bomibag which costs $19.99 a month which comes with only sample sized-products. The Bomibag is definitely a good way to get your toes wet with K-Beauty if you have never tried it out before, or if you have a full routine, but just want to try new products as well.

I personally went for the one that includes the full sized items because with the two or three full sized items they provide magically always seem to be the items that I am getting ready to change in my routine, plus with sensitive and acne prone skin, you need a bit longer to test things out and find out if they are worth keeping.

Items included in Bomibox June 2018:

  • This box came with 3 “full-sized” items. They are:
    • The Saem Healing Green Tea Cleanser Water – about $11
    • Olivearrier Dual Moist Toning Lotion – $28
    • Benton Fermentation Eye Cream – $27
  • This box also came with 2 samples:
    • Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner – about $4
    • Pyunkang Yul Cleansing Foam – about $1
  • The box also came with 4 mask style products:
    • A’pieu Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Mask #Watermelon – $2
    • A’pieu Hidden Solution Nose Patch – $1
    • Missha Pure Source Pocket Pack (Aloe) – about $2
    • Dr. Jart The Mask Shaking Rubber Hydro Shot – $12
  • Total box value: around $88, which is $40 above what the box costs.
  • I have not tried the products in the box yet, but I have tried products from most of the brands included, minus The Saem and Olivarrier.
  • I have tried the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner. It came with my PinkSeoul January February Box (you can read that here). I do really enjoy this toner. It is extremely hydrating without being heavy. Honestly, out of all the toners I own, this is my favorite.
  • Update: I also tried the Shaking Rubber Shot. These things are so weird and fun, as well as hydrating. I actually ended up buying a 4 pack so that I can film a video of me wearing one for you all.

Since I did just get the Bomibox June in the mail, but I must say, I am impressed. They provided a large variety of products, and a number of them from brands I have already used, as well as one product I already greatly enjoy.  We’ll see how I feel after I try more of them, but thus far, (update Rachel speaking here) I highly recommend that you try this box. It is one of the best K-Beauty subscriptions that I have tried to date. You can pick it up here.

Have you tried any of these brands before, K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments below!

사랑합니다!
