EXO (엑소) The EXO’rdium dot Live Concert Photobook Unboxing

exo exo rdium live in seoul cd

Today’s album that I will be giving you the deets on is a special EXO release from back in October of 2017. It is a copy of the massive photo book of EXO’s 3rd tour plus a CD of all of the live versions that were performed at the concert called The EXO’rdium dot Live in Seoul. This is not a cheap album, as it is over 200 pages of photo and text about EXO’s third tour, plus live albums.

I do a lot of my album shopping on Music Plaza LA. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase!

You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.

What is E-Bates?

E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Ebates, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used EBates before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using EBates. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Sokoglam typically has 3%. These percentages Many other major retailers are on there as well.

There is only one version of this book, but it is loaded with behind the scenes photos of their concert from May and it is definitely a special treat for EXO fans like myself.

Things you should know about this album:

  • Things that come with the album:
    • 2 CDs
    • Very large photobook (over 300 pages)
    • Photocard (1 of 9)
    • Lyric book
  • CD 1 has 16 tracks. CD 2 has 15, so that’s 31 songs total, most of them remixed in some way.
  • The mixing on the live album is awesome, as there aren’t excessive amounts of screaming girls heard. It’s just enough to keep you pumped.
  • There is a mixture of English and Korean text throughout the book. So even if you don’t speak Korean, you can still read le things. Now, there is more Korean than English cause… well… they are Korean after all…. but if you don’t speak Korean, there are things you can read. If you want to learn Korean, you can read about how I taught myself right here. This post has a number of tips for learning the language, helpful sites, and books, etc. I will have more posts on this later. This is just the first one.

K-Points:  1,832/5

I actually cried when I heard the music the first time. I was sitting at my desk at work, listening to the music, squealing and crying like a little girl (and it still does). This album hit me hard. I am a massive EXO fan, and I have never heard an EXO song I don’t like. Plus, as many of you may know, EXO was my gateway drug. If you didn’t read about that, here’s the post.  I swear, my boss was looking at me like… oh gosh… here we go again… Rachel’s freaking out over Korea… Which is actually an almost daily occurrence.

The music, plus looking through the photo book at the same time was a SERIOUS sensory overload for the K-Pop Hero, and I legit lost my shit when I heard the first track on the Live album…. and then immediately purchased the full concert DVD…. cause I needed it… #noregrets! Let’s face it… I’m an impulsive person who has issues waiting for the good things and wants them in front of me right now. K-Pop is a good thing.

Right, K-Nuggets?

사랑합니다!
