GOT7 (갓세븐) Flight Log: Departure Monograph Unboxing

flight log departure monograph

I’ve discovered with some groups that I have a huge problem, and that is when I buy one product from a set, I have to have all of them. I do this with makeup lines, figurines, video games, and, of course KPop albums. If you remember ages ago, I wrote a post on the Got7 Flight Log: Arrival Monograph (you can see it here), after I wrote that post, I went and tracked down the other two, because my mind decided that they were needed in my collection. Two weeks later, the remaining versions were in my possession. Today, we will talk about the first monograph, Flight Log: Departure.

You can pick up a copy here on Amazon for $51.99 with free shipping.

You can also check for a copy on Music Plaza LA. If you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase!

You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.

What is E-Bates?

E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Ebates, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used EBates before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using EBates. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Sokoglam typically has 3%. These percentages Many other major retailers are on there as well.

Things you need to know about this monograph:

  • The mongraph comes with the following:
    • DVD of the making of the album jacket and music video for Fly
    • Massive photo book (200+ pages) of photos of the members during the jacket shooting and the music video
    • 7 big old photo cards of the members
    • The DVD has Chinese, English and Thai subtitles (All the languages the members speak!)
  • The contents of this are in the exact same style as the Arrival Monograph (you can read that here)
  • The photos and the DVD have some really great adorable moments of GOT7 in them, and  I also enjoy the behind the scenes look. It feels less posed. So you really just get to see how they all behave. Jinyoung is serious as ever. The rest of them are well, them. They really are just all totally adorable goobers.

K-Points: 467/5

This isn’t a perfect score for me, as it didn’t like blow me out of the water, and make me pass out, but it definitely is a very nice treat for fans. It’s full of pictures of the guys, it has a DVD full of even more happy little nuggets, and it has extra photos that you could frame, if you so desired. I wish that there was more stuff written in there by the guys, besides just the pictures, as it would add a really nice personal touch. I do also really like how they made sure that the DVD was translated into the languages that the members speak.

Do you need to buy this? Absolutely not, but if you are a big fan of GOT7, go for it. Just a reminder though, that it is a bit pricey.
