Well, so far it looks like September will be a bit quiet on K-Pop releases. Because of this, I’m letting you all know in advance that you can expect there to be a ton of posts on some older things. Today, one of those “older things” is Seventeen Boys Be. This album holds one of my favorite Seventeen tracks: Mansae (만세). Why do I like it so much? Because the point dance is easy. I mean, look at this:
I can do that!
I don’t remember exactly where or when I picked up my copy of this, but I’m pretty sure that it was Amazon this time. That means my Amazon history will remember when I got it. Currently, on Amazon, the album is going for $18.40 with free shipping as a Prime Member. You can pick it up here.
If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30 day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2 day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle paper white too, and it is honestly a life saver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the kindle library. The program cost $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.
Things to know about Seventeen Boys Be:
- There are 2 versions of this album:
- Hide (Pink cover, Shown)
- Seek (Blue cover)
- Things that come with this album:
- CD
- About 100 page photobook
- Sticker sheet
- 5 big photo cards
- 1 member photo card (13 versions)
- Folded poster
- The photo book for this one is pretty clean, no crazy concept, simply the members having a good time. I especially like the photos fo them in the toy car
- I also really like how they added a sticker sheet. It’s fun!
K-Points: 223/5
I really think that the things that this album comes with are a nice present for Seventeen fans. It comes with big photos that they can hang up as well as the smaller photo card. On top of that, if someone is a super fan, it has stickers that they can put on things! Despite that, out of the Seventeen albums I own (you can see a number of them here), it isn’t my absolutely favorite. That would be Teen, age.
So, should you buy a copy of this album? Absolutely, but I would put it lower on the priority list. It is only an EP, and it has only 5 tracks. Because of that, I would get some of their repackages first, such as Director’s Cut. Should you still listen to it? Duh. Mansae is a serious bop!
What Seventeen single is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below, K-Nuggets!
