Rosé R The First Single Album Unboxing

Blackpink has a group has been one that has changed the game of the K-Pop industry. Their fashion, music, and dancing are all on point. So, when Rosé R The First Single Album was released, getting a copy was a no-brainer. Keep reading to find out what comes with the album, my thoughts, and where you can pick up a copy.

Things to know about the Rosé R The First Single Album:

Rosé’s highly anticipated, first solo release came out on March 12th, 2021. In its first 24 hours, the title track, “On The Ground”, received over 41.6 million views. With this track, Rosé set the record for the highest-charting song by a Korean female soloist in the US, peaking at number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 list. On top of that, The second track, “Gone” received 15 million views of its accompanying music video in the first 24 hours. This track also peaked at #15 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart.

    • Lyrics Paper
    • Random Postcard (4 of 18)
    • Random Polaroid (2 of 9)
    • Sticker Set
    • Random Double Sided Poster (1 of 4 – I opted out)
  • This album has the following songs on it:
    1.   On the Ground
    2. Gone
    3. On the Ground (instrumental – CD Only)
    4. Gone (Instrumental – CD Only)

K-Points: 325/5

Although this album has only 2 songs on it, both of these songs show a completely different side to Rosé. On top of all of that, the album comes with a number of unique extras. I love polaroids, and as I mention in many of my other posts, stickers are my favorite. That being said, unless Rosé or BlackPink is your end all be all, I would save your money to buy one of BlackPink’s full albums or mini-albums, as this has only 2 tracks which you can easily stream.

If you want to watch me fangirl, I do also post reactions over on my YouTube Channel. I have posted one for Rosé On the Ground, which you can watch below:

Where Can I Buy It?

I picked up my copy of this album Music Plaza LA. You can get a copy here for $24.99, plus shipping. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase! You can also order a copy of the album from eBay, as they typically have good prices. This link will help you with your search. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the Rakuten extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.

What is Rakuten?

Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over $80 back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers on there as well!

Rakuten also has a Google Chrome extension that will tell you as soon as you log onto a site that has cashback with a little pop-up in the corner so that you can ensure you are saving money!

Can I get it on Amazon?

Yes! You can pick up a copy using this link with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime. If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30-day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2-day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle Paper White too, and it is honestly a lifesaver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the Kindle library. The program costs $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.
