Neogen Real Cica Pad Review

neogen real cica pad

I will not lie, I actually picked this up because meejmuse talked about it in one of her videos. I do not remember exactly which one it was, but I recall her raving about these exfoliating pads, which meant that I had to try them myself. This also is why I bought the innisfree Volcanic clay mask, which if you didn’t read my post, I’m in love with.

I picked these up off of Sokoglam for $20 here. If you have never purchased off of Sokoglam before, you can use this link to get 20% off of your first purchase. That will take the cost down to $16. I was going to give you an Amazon link, but the price is way more expensive there. Stick with Sokoglam.

Things to know about Neogen Real Cica Pad:

  • This product contains a highly concentrated amount centella asiatica
  • Centella asiatica helps with the following:
    • Calming skin
    • Reducing Hyperpigmentation
    • Produce more collagen (anti-aging benefit)
    • This is excellent for sensitive skin
  • This product also has hylaronic acid in it which is for deep, intensive moisture.
  • The pads that the essence is in have a bit of a rough texture so the do a bit of physical exfoliation of the skin.
  • Because of this texture, they do an excellent job of pulling up dirt and dead skin from the skin
  • For me, it took about 2 weeks of using these every few days to see the full calming effects on the skin.
  • They are extremely gentle, and people with sensitive skin shouldn’t have any issues.

K-Points: 491/5

So, these pads aren’t getting a full perfect score. Despite all of their benefits, and actually helping a bit with my scarring. I’m not in love with the texture of the Neogen Real Cica Pad itself. It feels a bit like plastic, and although that was the intent, for some reason it bother me. Other than that, the essence is great, the product is great, but next time I might go for one of the other products in the Real Cica line, as there are multiple.

Does this mean I won’t repurchase this product? No. I may pick it up again, and it is highly probable that I will, as I still do enjoy the effects of it. At the same time, I am inclined to try the whole like before I decide which product in the line is my end all be all.

Have you tried Centella Asiatica on your skin, K-Nuggets? What results did you see? Let me know in the comments!
