Goblin OST Album Unboxing

goblin ost

Ages ago I wrote a post called K-Dramas I love Part 1 In which I wrote a short blurb about how much I love the drama Goblin. Naturally, my love for the TV Show cause me to buy the Goblin OST and add it to my collection. This is one of many things that I own from that drama, and I wanted to share it with you. I’ve even got a little Goblin on my desk at work!

I picked up my copy of this on Amazon, and there was a lot of waiting for the OST to come back into stock on the website so I can purchase it. Current it is going for $29.99 with free shipping as a Prime member here.

If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30 day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2 day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle paper white too, and it is honestly a life saver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the kindle library. The program cost $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.

Things to know about the Goblin OST:

  • The album comes with the following:
    • 2 albums, one is the orchestration, one is the songs written for the album
    • Flip book (reversible); one side of Go Eun and Gong Yoo, the other is Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook
    • Lyric book
    • Photo book of stills from the show
    • one of those covers that changes pictures
  • I really love all of the stills from the album in here as well. The coloring is so beautiful, especially in the photos from Quebec.
  • The flip book is also a really nice touch. It is cute, and fun.
  • I love how to cover photo changes back and forth as well

K-Points: 876/5

Honestly, every time I look at this album, all I am reminded of is how much I adore this album and TV show. The soundtrack and plot are so well done. It is truly a masterpiece. On top of that, the added flip book really takes the OST to a new level.

Do I think you should buy a copy? Not necessarily, it’s just all the extra. Do I think you need to watch the Drama? 100,000 times yes. It is so good. I laughed and cried. I sobbed and swooned. The story is so dynamic and this is matched by fantastic color palettes that were definitely made even better in editing. Honestly, the entire drama is a beautiful work of art. I have nothing but positive things to say about it.

Have any of you watched Goblin? What are your favorite parts? Let me know in the comments below K-Nuggets!
