Facetory Refreshing Eye Cream: Me, Myself & Eye Review

Facetory Refreshing Eye Cream Me Myself and I scaled

Today we are going to be talking about a product from a brand of which I am a big fan. Although I don’t believe it is incredibly well known, they have a number of excellent products, and on top of that, they introduce me to a number of new Korean brands. This product is from their own line of curations. It is the Facetory Refreshing Eye Cream: Me, Myself & Eye.

Things to know about the Facetory Refreshing Eye Cream: Me, Myself & Eye:

This product is formulated with the following ingredients that are good for your skin:
  • Rice Water is the first ingredient in the list, and it is a very popular one in K-Beauty. Rice water is known to help brighten, hydrate, and smooth the skin.
  • Bifida Lysate Ferment is a probiotic that helps the skin barrier and decreases sensitivity of the skin.
  • Niacinamide is an ingredient that excels in helping treat redness and inflammation.
This product is formulated with the following ingredients that are “bad” for your skin:
  • This product does have low concentrations of various fruit and flower oils in it that could be problematic for some. All of this being said, I have incredibly sensitive skin, and I haven’t had any negative reaction to this product, nor does it smell of them. It is also fragrance free.

K-Points: 9/10

So, for beauty reviews, unlike my album unboxings, I will be much harsher on because this can directly impact your health, where buying K-Pop albums does not. It just impacts your wallet. As such, all of my beauty reviews will be out of 10 points. I will not be going over that number.

Quite frankly, I am a big fan of this eye cream. It is gentle around the eyes, doesn’t have a scent, and definitely keeps them feeling moist. This is completely essential in the winter where I live. Pittsburgh gets quite cold, and windy. Five minutes outside in the dead of winter can make your face immediately chapped. I did actually repurchase this eye cream, as I do truly like it. The only reason that I am not giving it 10/10 is because of those oils.

If you are looking for a new eye cream that is cruelty-free and affordable, highly recommend checking this product out here.

What are the Koreans saying?

I was digging through reviews on 화해**, a Korean skincare app that lists out the ingredients of products from many brands for people to look through as well as post reviews. From what I can see FACEtory is not currently in there as a brand. I believe it may actually be developed in the states, produced in Korea, and shipped back. So, it’s like a Korean-US hybrid brand. That being said, the ingredient deck does take it’s roots from Korean Skincare.

Where Can I Buy It?

Whenever I buy K-Beauty, I do shop at a couple of different places. If you want to see all of the places that I shop at, you can check them all out here.  In the past year or two, they started coming out with their own line of products that are all cruelty-free. This is one of them. If you want to try their products, you can use this link or this code (THEKPOPHERO20) to get 20% off your first purchase get 15$ off of your first purchase. Also, some of which you can get at Target. With Target, you can also use Rakuten for cash back off of your purchases on their site.

What is Rakuten?

Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers are on there as well!

Are there any brands that you like that are Korean-esque but not Korean, K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments down below!

사랑합니다!

**Note: 화해 still only exists in Korean, but some of the products can be searched for in English.
