I don’t think I have been this excited for an album to come in the mail this year. Only Super Junior albums get close. If you read my review, you will know that I have no bad things to say about the EXO Don’t Mess Up My Tempo album. They made us wait for ages, but in that wait, they gave us a phenomenal album that doesn’t have a bad track on it. As such, I couldn’t be happier having this album in my collection. Keep reading to find out what comes with the album, my thoughts, and where you can pick up a copy.
Things to know about the EXO Don’t Mess Up My Tempo Album:
Released November 2nd, 2018, Don’t Mess Up My Tempo saw the return of Lay on the Chinese version of “Tempo” – his first appearance since the release of For Life in 2016. This album is the groups 6th studio album – 5 Korean studio albums, and one Japanese one, Countdown. The album exceeded 1.1 million preorders causing the album to debut at number 1 on the Gaon Album Charts and already be certified platinum. This album marked EXO’s fifth album that went platinum. The album was number one on the Gaon Album Monthly Charts and third on the year end charts. On top of that, the album also broke the US Billboard 200 – ranking in the 23rd spot. The single from the album “Tempo” has 227 million views on Youtube, and won song of the year in the Soompi Awards.

Okay, I am a serious fan of EXO, but what I love about these photo books is that even though there is a common theme to them, the photo books all have a different feel to them. One is rugged biker shots, one is shot from the music video set, and the final is model pose shots. They look very pretty in clothes.
So, should you buy a copy of this album? Honestly, I think it is worth it. The music itself is fantastic (although they will definitely be repackaging it). On top of that, the photo books are quite nice. Can you just stream the album? If you haven’t yet, you are crazy! The music is so stinking good!
