As you may have read last month, I used to subscribe to a bi-monthly subscription service called Pink Seoul, after getting that for about 8 months, I wasn’t very happy with it. It always came squashed in the mail, the product selection inside the box didn’t wow me, so I decided to cancel it, and subscribed to Bomibox instead. Unlike PinkSeoul, Bomibox is a monthly subscription service, so this is Bomibox July. Last month, I was quite impressed with the products that I recieved, so I have decided to keep it to see what I get.
If you would like to subscribe you can do so here. The box costs $37.99 a month, and it gives you 8 items in it, half full-sized, half sample-sized. They also offer Bomibag which costs $19.99 a month which comes with only sample sized-products. The Bomibag is definitely a good way to get your toes wet with K-Beauty if you have never tried it out before, or if you have a full routine, but just want to try new products as well.
I personally went for the one that includes the full sized items because with the two or three full sized items they provide magically always seem to be the items that I am getting ready to change in my routine, plus with sensitive and acne prone skin, you need a bit longer to test things out and find out if they are worth keeping.
Items included in Bomibox July 2018:
- This box came with 3 “full-sized” items. They are:
- Benton Cacao Moist and Mild Cream – $13
- Hemish Bulgarian Rose Hydrogel Eye Patch – $19
- 6 Pack Melt Me Softly Black Head Patch – $13
- This box also came with 4 samples:
- D’Alba White Truffle Serum Mist – about $15
- Touch in Sol No Poreblem Primer- about $2
- LaNeige Lavender Water Sleeping Mask – around $3
- Whamisa Organic Flowers Apple Sebum Treatment – around $2
- The box also came with 2 mask style products:
- Nature Republic Real Nature Mask Sheet in Royal Jelly – $1
- Etude House 0.2 mm Therapy Air Hylaronic Acid – $2
- Total box value: around $70, which is $32 above what the box costs.
- I have not tried the products in the box yet.
- I have used the Nature Republic Sheet Mask previously. The Nature Republic sheets are relatively thick, so they are not my favorite.
- I have also used the No Poreblem Primer for over a year. It is actually my favorite, so I am happy to have one for travel.
- I have also used the regular water sleeping mask, but never the lavender one. I expect it will be very calming.
Since I did just get the Bomibox July in the mail, but I must say, I am impressed. They provided a large variety of products, and a number of them from brands I have already used, as well as one product I already greatly enjoy. We’ll see how I feel after I try more of them.
Have you tried any of these brands before, K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments below!
