belif First Aid Overnight Sleeping Mask Review

belif first aid overnight brightening mask

More K-Beauty coming at you! When I was getting into k-beauty and skincare, one of the first brands I got into was belif. It is readily available at Sephora, and came highly recommended to me by my favorite skincare consultant at the store. For awhile, I forgot how much I enjoyed their products, until I wrote my post about my K-beauty love and my skincare routine, and then I was back on Sephora’s website looking for products of theirs that I hadn’t tried yet.

This mask that made its way into my home from Sephora by belif is called the First Aid Overnight Sleeping Mask. You can pick it up at Sephora for  $34.00 here. It is on the pricier side, but I personally am ALWAYS down for a sleeping mask. I haven’t found a holy grail one up to this point that my skin does for yet. They all seem to be lacking something. So, let’s see how this holds up to the rest of them.

Things to know about the Belif First Aid Overnight Brightening Mask:

  • For $34.00, you get 50 ml (1.68 oz) of product. Since it is a sleeping mask, that will last me quite a while.
  • The packaging is the same size and style as most other moisturizers and masks from the brand
  • Key ingredients:
    • Black Truffle Extract: Energizes
    • Amber: Conditions
    • Pearl: Brightens
    • Gold Powder: Helps make skin more radiant and luminous
  • based off of the expensive ingredients that are added to the product, I think that the price is fair
  • The mask is very lightweight, but not so lightweight that you feel like it isn’t doing anything
  • It sinks in quickly so that when you lay on your pillow, you aren’t leaving mask residue everywhere
  • When I woke up in the morning, my scars were DEFINITELY less apparent.
  • When I used a different overnight mask for a day, I also noticed that my skin didn’t look as good the next morning, so this mask is definitely doing something, and it is something good.
  • It is very nice for sensitive skin, and will not provide any irritation

K-Points: 522/5

Out of all of the overnight masks that I have tried up to this point, this one is by far the best. It has visible results the next morning, my skin doesn’t feel dry like it does with other masks, and it also doesn’t feel oily. It is the perfect balance between the two. The effectiveness and the gentleness of this mask are also a plus. It’s hydrating, but not oily and dries quickly without drying out the skin with it. I cannot think of anything I would change about this mask, and to be honest, I find the price acceptable for the ingredient deck and the quality of the product.

Should you try out this mask? I think it is definitely a bonus product that you cand add to your routine, but not a necessity. If you consistently have dry, acne prone, or generally troubled skin, it is definitely worth considering. Us troubled skin girls know that sometimes to get good skin, you’ve got to pay more. Is this the most I have ever paid for a skincare product? No. It is actually on the cheaper end for me, so $34 was a no-brainer and a no-brainer I don’t regret. I will definitely repurchase this mask again and again.
