I was going through my makeup recently, and I realized I have a lot of Peripera products in my possession. K-Points: 10/10
So, for beauty reviews, unlike my album unboxings, I will be much harsher because this can directly impact your health, where buying K-Pop albums does not. It just impacts your wallet. As such, all of my beauty reviews will be out of 10 points. I will not be going over that number.
I am actually a bit obsessed with the formula of these, as I am with all of Peripera’s lip products – including the Ink the Velvet and Ink Airy Velvet. They are incredibly lightweight and nice to wear. They are not drying on the lips, and they wear very nicely. Although they don’t stay fully on through eating everything and anything, I will happily sacrifice that for comfort and non-crusty lips. On top of all of that, their products are incredibly affordable, so you aren’t breaking the bank to get great lips.
What are the Koreans saying?
I was digging through reviews on 화해 (Hwahae)*, a Korean skincare app that lists out the ingredients of products from many brands for people to look through as well as post reviews. So, instead of going through and talking about what the Koreans thought since there are 15 shades, I will rank all 15 in order based on the number of reviews and stars. Also, I included the release date of the palettes so that you can that into account with the number of reviews.
X in Order of Popularity:
- 15 Acorn Brown (4.56 out of 5 stars, 50 reviews)
- 03 Oatmeal Rose (4.22 out of 5 stars, 63 reviews)
- 13 Mauve Pong (4.81 out of 5 stars, 26 reviews)
- 12 Almond Rose (4.83 out of 5 stars, 24 reviews)
- 14 Make Up Chili (4.29 out of 5 stars, 17 reviews)
- 02 Ballet Pink (4.41.out of 5 stars, 46 reviews)
- 01 Peach Puree (4.34 out of 5 stars, 47 reviews)
- 06 Pink Dive (4.19 out of 5 stars, 21 reviews)
- 05 Ginger Red (4.14 out of 5 stars, 37 reviews)
- 08 Smoky Coral (4.22 out of 5 stars, 18 reviews)
- 04 Soft Cedarwood (4.18 out of 5 stars, 17 reviews)

Where Can I Buy It?
Whenever I buy K-Beauty, I do shop at a couple of different places. If you want to see all of the places that I shop at, you can check them all out here. I picked these up at a number of different places, including Style Korean and Olive Young. With a number of the places I shop for cosmetics at, you can also use Rakuten for cash back off of your purchases on their site.
What is Rakuten?
Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over $80 back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!
If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from. Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers on there as well!
Rakuten also has a Google Chrome extension that will tell you as soon as you log onto a site that has cashback with a little pop-up in the corner so that you can ensure you are saving money!
Which shade are you most likely to wear, K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments down below!
사랑합니다!

*Note: 화해 still only exists in Korean, but some of the products can be searched for in English.
