So, I slammed this album when I initially listened to it, as it made me extremely unhappy (if you want to know why, you can read it here). I still bought an actual copy of Stray Kids Mixtape. I’ve been bad, as I have been meaning to write this post, but just like my post on Chungha’s album, I was far more excited about other posts, so this one did get pushed back a bit. Either way, even though I totally slammed the music itself, the album itself is actually a nice gift to fans that I am going to get into right now.
I also do a lot of my album shopping on Music Plaza LA. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase!
You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.
What is E-Bates?
E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Ebates, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!
If you’ve never used EBates before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using EBates. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from. Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Sokoglam typically has 3%. These percentages Many other major retailers are on there as well.

K-Points: 473/5
After being so disappointed in the music itself because it felt like they didn’t put that much effort into the album, I was pleasantly surprised by the actual contents of the album. It is a great gift to the fans. It has big photocards, it has little photo cards, the photobook itself is over 100 pages, and the poster is actually really nice. I didn’t hyperventilate over it though because, well, honestly, I’m 24, and they’re jail bait. Not going to lie. If you are like 5 years younger than me, you may be way more about that life, but I’m not.
Does having a great album make up for the fact that the music (besides 2 tracks) is awful? Absolutely not. Should you still buy this? That is where I am on the fence because I love to support new groups like this so that in the future their company will begin handing them music that is actually written for them. I also do not like to support things that I don’t think are top quality, as I want artists, and the companies they come from to always do their best and keep producing great work. In a case like this, I will leave it up to you, but I think at the end of the day, we need to support the newbies even more than those with a well-established career. For these new groups, this is the most critical time, as right now can really determine what happens 2-3 years from now when all of these established groups are off in the military and stuff. They will be all we have to decorate our shelves.
We should just love everyone, K-Nuggets!
