What? No, I’ve already told you that I hate Jonghyun so much that I buy all of his stuff so I can listen to it all the time. I sear you guys don’t listen at all. Didn’t you hear me talk about how great he is in basically every other post that i have ever written about him? I did it here, and here, as well as here. Basically, I love Jonghyun.
Today we are going to be talking all about his first EP, Base. If you want it, you can get it on Amazon right here for like 15 bucks. I like it simply due to the fact that you can watch Jonghyun evolve as an artist, and just see how everything he has done has changed over time. The album is decent, but, his more recent stuff is better, mainly just due to the fact that he has gained experience. Either way, this isn’t about the music today. It is about the album itself. So let’s talk about it.

- The photobook is full of photos of Jonghyun just being pretty. It isn’t as exciting as She is or Poet | Artist, but it is still pretty.
- Also, I love how artistic his outfits are. They look like something I would wear.

In regards to excitement levels over the music, and the album packaging itself. This album is nothing special. Obviously, I still bought it because I support Jonghyun 500%. In comparison to his other albums though, the music on this one is just okay. I think that his later albums are much better, and really showcase better who Jonghyun is.
Should you buy this album? If it is the last Jonghyun album you are missing, yes. If it is not, buy the other ones first. I think that this is an album that you buy to calm your OCD over your album collection not being complete. 100% you need to buy Poet | Artist and She Is first. No questions about it.
