Chungha (청하) OffSet Album Unboxing

That moment when all of your albums that you ordered in January come in at about the same time, but you still have a ton of other things to write about so you push back writing the post because other things were more fun. This is one of those moments. I got my copy of the ChungHa OffSet album in probably a week and a half ago, and am just getting around to write the post about the album itself. I did already write an entire review of the music itself, which you can read here, but now it is time to talk about the actual album itself.

I do a lot of my album shopping on Music Plaza LA. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase!

You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.

What is E-Bates?

E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Ebates, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!

If you’ve never used EBates before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using EBates. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from.  Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Sokoglam typically has 3%. These percentages Many other major retailers are on there as well.

K-Points: 427/5

So, even though the mini-album itself, when I did my music review wasn’t one of my absolute favorites, as she’s still young and doesn’t really have much vocal control yet when it comes to the album’s actually packaging, it was actually pretty good! Obviously I didn’t hyperventilate over it, but if I’m going to start taking style inspiration from you, you are definitely doing something right. I also love how they have the photocards packaged. They aren’t just thrown into the album, and instead, they all have their own individual slots.

Is this album an absolute must buy? If you are a fan of I.O.I and Chung Ha, yes. But if you read my review of the actual album, there really are only a few songs worth listening to out of the whole thing, so I think it is perfectly fine if you just stream it. So basically, whether you buy a physical copy of this album or not is 100% your prerogative. I am pf the belief that you won’t be missing too much if you just stream it, as the music itself is what is important, and the album is just okay.

What do you think of Chungha’s second mini album, K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments below!
