2020 has been a year without much of Red Velvet, besides Irene & Seulgi, due to Wendy’s injury at the very end of 2019. Psycho, although promotions were incredibly shortlived, was an amazing track that continues to deserve more time in the spotlight. This is why, although almost a year later, I’m posting my unboxing of Red Velvet The Reve Festival: Finale now.
I do also post reactions over on my YouTube Channel. I have also posted one for Red Velvet’s Zimzalabim, which you can watch below:
Since this post is actually an unboxing of the album, let’s actually talk about that. I picked up my copy of this album Music Plaza LA. You can get a copy here for $23.99, plus shipping. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase!
You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. From what I can see, the album may not have a current print going on, so you will have to . Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the Rakuten extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.
What is Rakuten?
Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!
If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from. Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers are on there as well!
Can I get it on Amazon?
It doesn’t appear to be available on Amazon at the moment either, but you can always put it on your wishlist and get a notification when it is available, with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime.
If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30-day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2-day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle Paper White too, and it is honestly a lifesaver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the Kindle library. The program costs $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.
Things to know about the Red Velvet The Reve Festival: Finale Album:
- There are 2 versions of this album:
- Pink
- Green (Shown)
- Things that come with the album:
- CD
- Photobook (176 pages)
- Postcard (1 of 5 versions)
- Photocard (1 of 10)
- Sticker
K-Points: 232/5
So, of course, this album gets top marks because they gave me a sticker. What makes it even more impressive though is the 176 page photobook. When it comes to K-Pop albums, a photobook that large is hard to come by. Most of the time, they are around 100 pages.
So should you get yourself a copy of this album? If this album comes back into print, you definitely need to get a hold of a copy. The photobook is fantastic, and the album has all of the parts of The Reve Festival on it, b=plus some. That being said until they reprint it, I 100% recommend that you stream the album.
