When this mini-album came out shortly after we were all stuck inside with COVID. The album and the music videos brought me so much joy and light into those days. As such, this album will have such a special place in my heart. As such, MAX The 1st Mini Album: Chocolate had to make its way into my collection.

What I must say is my absolute favorite about this album is that SM went all-in on the chocolate theme. They even included a piece of that translucent paper you see on top of fancy chocolate boxes, concealing Max’s chocolate abs. This album is incredibly sexy musically and packaging wise. For these reasons, it gets top marks from me.

So should you get yourself a copy of this album? If you are a big fan of Max, and like, well, abs, this is the album for you. The music is all well done and is a great mix of sexy and classic. Should you stream it? Absolutely! I always think, unless you are like me that it is best to hold off on buying an album until you are 100% positive you want it because it takes up so much space. So, I will buy the albums so you don’t have to.
