September is finally in full swing! The temperature has dropped to be about 60 degrees on the daily, I have had my #basicwhitegirl pumpkin spice lattes, and my August releases are all finally making it to my house, and into my possession. This include my copy of the iKON New Kids: Continue album, which if you read my review of, you would know that I am a huge fan.
Like always, I purchased my copies off of Choice Music LA. You can get one version for $19.99 plush shipping here. They also have a 2 version set for $38.99 plus shipping here. I always try to support the smaller, local companies if i can, but if you cannot get it shipped to your country, you can always try Amazon. The red and blue versions on there both cost $22.98 each with free shipping if you have Prime.
If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30 day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2 day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle paper white too, and it is honestly a life saver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the kindle library. The program cost $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.
Things to know about iKON New Kids: Continue:
- There are 2 versions of the album (both shown:
- red
- blue
- The album comes with the following:
- CD
- 88 page photobook
- Accordion photocard set
- Photo card of one of the members (9 versions in each) -> This is apparently first press only
- I absolutely love the photo books for this album. The members look smokin’ and extremely cool. I think the concept is excellent, and very clean.
- They provided lots of close-up shots of the members. As well as a few group photos.
- The photobooks as a whole, have a very nice balanced feel to them. There isn’t too much going on in the photos, but just enough to keep you interested.
- I also love how I got B.I. for both of my photocards. #goals
K-Points: 528/5
So the music on the album did get alot of points, and even though this is only a mini-album, I am extremely impressed as a whole with the quality and professional levels of the photos, as well as the album itself. iKON is really doing a good job letting the individual members shine, and that is why I really like them.
Should you buy a copy of this album? As it is only 5 tracks, since it is a mini album, you may want to spend your money on getting the full albums first, such as Return. After that, definitely pick up a copy of this. Which version should I get? I highly recommend the red version. I like the black and white concept in it, and red is my favorite color. Both are excellent choices. If you don’t have the money to buy it right out, I highly recommend that you stream it. It is worth it.
