In honor of EXO coming back the first week in August, you will be seeing a number of my older EXO albums making an appearance on my blog. Today’s album is EXO Growl. As the first full album from EXO, Growl features some really catchy tunes. This is to the point that If I even see the word growl, I automatically start singing 으르렁. - Not every single page in this album has a photo of a member. They use a lot of white space, as I believe the pages are perforated so you can pull them out (something I would never do)

EXO Growl is actually a really good album musically, and it has many great songs on it. The reason I am docking points from this album: the perforations make me terrified that I may rip a page. Additionally, the spiral bounding also makes things slightly more lightly to rip, just from turning the pages. Other than those things, I do enjoy the album. The photos are adorable, just like EXO always is.
Should you buy a copy of this album? I don’t think it is absolutely necessary unless you are attempting to backfill all EXO albums, or you just really love EXO. Should you stream it? That is a no-brainer. Of course, you should! It has the usual EXO charm!
