Day6 is one of those groups that has managed to keep my interest since their early days. I own the majority of their albums, and when they come out with new music, I don’t have to even think to know i need it in my collection. This is how DAY6 The Book of Us: Negentropy The 7th Mini-Album ended up in my collection. Keep reading to find out what comes with the album, my thoughts, and where you can pick up a copy.
Things to know about the DAY6 The Book of Us: Negentropy The 7th Mini-Album:
Released on April 19th, 2021, this album marks the final Day6 album that will be featured with Jae as a member (his exclusive contract was terminated on December 31st, 2021). The album sold over 100,00 copies, one of their biggest sellers of all of their albums and the album reached a peak position of Number 3 on the Gaon Album Charts. The group was slowly releasing lyric videos for every track starting on April 11th, 2021, leading up to the debut single “YouMake Me”. Due to Sungjin leaving for the military, Day6 didn’t do any live promotions for the album or the single.

Although I think I may be missing some of the pre-order items, I really do enjoy this album. My favorite of the two is definitely the Only version. The fact that they took the members and turn them into drawings is a really neat idea, and I haven’t seen anything like it in many other albums (besides EXO’s 4th Album Repackage The Power of Music). Even then, it’s an incredibly neat stylistic choice that I may have an obsession with.
If you want to watch me fangirl, I do also post reactions on my YouTube Channel. I have posted one for DAY6 Zombie, which you can watch below:
Where Can I Buy It?
I picked up my copy of this album Music Plaza LA. You can get a copy here for $19.99, plus shipping. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase! You can also order a copy of the album from eBay, as they typically have good prices. This link will help you with your search. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the Rakuten extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.
What is Rakuten?
Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over $80 back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!
If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from. Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers on there as well!
Rakuten also has a Google Chrome extension that will tell you as soon as you log onto a site that has cashback with a little pop-up in the corner so that you can ensure you are saving money!
Can I get it on Amazon?
Yes! You can pick up a copy using this link for about 21 dollars, with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime. If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30-day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2-day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle Paper White too, and it is honestly a lifesaver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the Kindle library. The program costs $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.
Which version of this DAY6 album do you like more, K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments below!
