Colourpop BT21 Makeup Collection Review

 I love it whenever American Brands do K-Beauty-inspired collections. They take all of the things I love about American brands and combine them with the aspects I love about K-Beauty. Colourpop occasionally comes out with a K-Beauty-related line, so when I saw that they were releasing a BT21 Limited Edition Collaboration, I had to get my hands on it. Keep reading to learn more about the collection, my and the Koreans’ thoughts, and where you can find one yourself.

K-Points: 9/10

So, for beauty reviews, unlike my album unboxings, I will be much harsher because this can directly impact your health, where buying K-Pop albums does not. It just impacts your wallet. As such, all of my beauty reviews will be out of 10 points. I will not be going over that number.

Overall, I really like this collection. Just like all Colourpop products, all of the shadows have excellent pigmentation, and the super shock shadows are lovely. I recently used the Just Like Sunshine Super Shock Shadow in a purple eye makeup look that I did, and it lasted for a long time, plus, it was super shimmery and made my makeup pop. On top of all of that, their products are incredibly affordable for any budget.

What are the Koreans saying?

I was digging through reviews on 화해 (Hwahae)*, a Korean skincare app that lists out the ingredients of products from many brands for people to look through as well as post reviews, and none of these products are currently listed in there. That being said, there were a few Colourpop products in there, but many of the products didn’t have reviews. So, the brand at this moment in time I don’t think is incredibly popular in Korea – I also cannot find many reviews of the brand in Korean on other sites.
