I am, and always have been. a massive fan of Baekhyun. He has the voice of an angel and is all around just incredibly talented. When it was announced that he would finally be releasing his own mini album, I was beyond enthralled, and as such I knew I needed to get my hands on a copy (or two) of Baekhyun City Lights. Even months later, this is still one of my favorite albums to date, as you can see based off of my reaction below.

- The Day version of the album is legit just pictures of Baekhyun, taken in the day time. He wears lots of white in the photos.
- Naturally, since the Day version is photos in the day, the night version is photos at night. Shocking, I know. He still wears a lot of white in this album, but he combines it with black more.

I’m not going to lie, I love the direction that SM appears to be taking their albums into. It’s great that they are now just giving folded posters included with the album instead of making you pay extra to get the poster. Additionally, I love the concept for this album. I think it really shows different, more raw sides to Baekhyun that we don’t see when he is promoting with EXO.
So should you get yourself a copy of this album? Honestly, this mini-album is amazing from start to finish. Baekhyun is such an amazing singer, and listening to him solo is a true treat. Should you stream it? I don’t think there is any reason you shouldn’t. Every song is sung artfully, and UN Village is still one of my favorite songs today.
