We are taking a day break from music reviews and unboxings. So, this is going to be a very, short post because you all need to watch the video. On Twitter recently, I put up a poll asking what kind of videos you all want to see. Unanimously, everyone voted that they wanted to hear me talk about my bad date stories, and I am happily obliging. I have a lot of them, and this is the first of many.
I’m not going to write much more about what actually happened because I want you to actually listen to the bad date story below. What I will say here is that this is a true story. It really did happen, even though it is truly a “Say what?” moment.
The Afterwords
Originally, after this whole situation transpired, I was slightly embarrassed for myself that I allowed something like this to happen to me. I thought I was a smarter person than this. I never anticipated I would end up in such an embarrassing situation. Even though the story is totally crazy, it started putting things in perspective and taught me how to really start speaking up for myself. It also taught me that I needed to learn to defend and protect myself.
This is part of the reason I started taking martial arts. Starting Taekwondo and Judo is something that is probably one of the smartest most rewarding things that I have done for myself. You would never expect that taking the time to learn how to take people down would make you feel empowered and calm, but it really does. It helps you feel in control especially in situations like dating where you are so vulnerable.
Do you have any really bad date stories, K-Nuggets? Let me know down in the comments below!
사랑합니다!
