After the passing of Jonghyun, when I saw that they were releasing a DVD of one of his last performances, I had to purchase it. I needed just one last chance to watch him perform with SHINee. As such I picked up a copy of this album to add to my collection, which I watch on bad days.
I bought my copy of this from Choice Music for $47.99 plus shipping (you can get yourself a copy here). Note: Even though I bought my copy from there, I am not shopping at Choice Music anymore, as they have a bad customer service policy. Nowadays, most of my albums come from Music Plaza LA , which is down the street from Choice Music in K-Town. This link will get you 5% off of your first purchase.
You can also get a copy on Amazon for $60.00 plus free shipping here. At this point, because this was released about 2 years ago now, Amazon and eBay are probably your best chance to track a copy of this DVD down.
You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.
What is E-Bates?
E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. - The album comes with 6 big photo cards, one of each member and then one of the whole group.
- The photo book isn’t bound like a book, but is on like a pivot-y thing (technical term, right there). The photos are on thick cardboard.
- Honestly, the photos in the book are all great, but the set up with the pivoty-thingie, makes it harder to rotate them all one at a time.
K-Points: 401/5
Honestly, despite how much I enjoy SHINee, and how excited I am about the DVD, this DVD, doesn’t hit higher than 401/5 on the K-Points. It didn’t have me overly giddy, just excited. Most likely that is because it is a bit bittersweet, with Jonghyun’s passing, and I know when I watch it, I will definitely cry. If you don’t you have no soul.
Should you buy a copy of this DVD? Absolutely, it is a special treat to fans. Is it worth the steep price tag though? That is 100% up to you. If you are a huge fan of SHINee, and would love to see Jonghyun’s last DVD performance, I say track down a copy of this. For that reason alone, I think this is worth it.
