Okay, I know this is an older album, but I had to write a post on it, as I have a lot to say on this one because it’s…. well…. interesting? More than that though, the music is fantastic. Today’s album unboxing is SHINee’s Sherlock. This is probably one of my favorite albums in my collection, and you will see why in a second.

- As you can see the booklets are well… interesting, and quite frankly hysterical. As to why they did their photoshoot like this, I have no clue, but I definitely find it amusing. Note: This is before Minho’s chocolate abs.
- The style itself is very avant garde, and in the top corner of a number of the pages, they actually translated quotes from the album into English, and wrote them up there.
- The style of this album is similar to Shinee’s Misconceptions of Us album (you can look at that album here)

As you can tell, I didn’t have much to say about this album, as the pictures speak for themselves. They are so strange and hilarious that you can’t help but love it. Like why is Taemin sitting on a chair with his finger in his mouth holding a ton of grapes without a shirt on? Like who does that. Then we also have Minho’s mushroom hair while drinking from a plastic bottle with, yet again no shirt on. There’s also Key lounging with a “hey girl, hey” look, and Jonghyun with one arm in a jacket. The whole album makes me think what is the meaning of life. Onew is the only more normal one, but we all know he is weird too.
Do you need a copy of this album? Yes. The music is fantastic and the pictures are so strange they are amazing. Can you stream it? Of course, but then you would be missing out…. I mean… look at how weird it is…. you need it… Throw this one at the top of your list to buy. It is a true treasure in my collection.
