So do you guys remember when I talked about how much I liked the iKON album that came out at the end of January? Well, I kinda went and bought both copies of the album… cause I needed that. They are available on Amazon.
I also do a lot of my album shopping on Music Plaza LA. Additionally, if you have never used Music Plaza before, this link will get you an extra 5% off of your first purchase!
You can also order a copy of the album from an eBay, as they typically have good prices. Plus, with eBay, you can save a little bit of money by using the E-Bates extension on your browser, as it will save you 2% on all album purchases, which definitely adds up.
What is E-Bates?
E-Bates is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Ebates, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over 80$ back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!
If you’ve never used EBates before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using EBates. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from. Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Sokoglam typically has 3%. These percentages Many other major retailers are on there as well.
Things to know about this album:
- There are two versions:
- Both albums come with the following:
- Photobook
- CD
- See-through card of one of the members
- Two smaller photocards of 2 of the members
- Photocards of all of the members
- Sticker Sheet
- Lyric book
- You can get a poster too (I believe there is only 1 version of the poster. I did not get it. I have too many posters)
- They’re both hardcover albums, so they are really durable
- Both photobooks are different, but they both make use of white space, so every page isn’t covered with photos (it’s actually really nice)
- The photocards are all 5×7 or 4×6, so if you really like a member you could frame the photos and put them up… but that’s a little stranger than I tend to get
- The stickers are all really good quality
- The lines you see on the CD are actually words in English. I’m not sure if they are lyrics from the album or not. Most likely, they are.
K-Points: 722/5
Even though the photo book in this album isn’t huge, they really pulled out all the stuff to make the fans happy. There are stickers, photo cards of all the members, An extra big see-through card of a member, plus two smaller photo cards? That’s a lot of stuff. On top of all of that, the photo books are awesome. All of the photos are great, and I’m not bored with any of them.
YG really killed it on this one. The stickers, plus all the photocards are what did me in. On top of all of that, the photo book is really great. They really thought through all of the little details of what the fans would like and delivered an outstanding product, cause who doesn’t love stickers. I totally squealed when I opened that envelope with all the extra goodies. They were fantastic, and I cannot think of any way that they could make this album any better, unless they actually put the members inside of it: a heterosexual woman’s dream, right there.
That’s the only way YG can up iKON’s next album, K-Nuggets.
사랑합니다!
