GOT7 (갓세븐) Eyes On You Album Unboxing

This album has an incredibly special place in my heart for multiple reasons. First, this the GOT7 release that came out right before I saw GOT7 on tour on their 2nd world tour in Toronto. Second, Look is a song that I still enjoy listening to in my car to this day. Keep reading to find out what comes with the album, my thoughts, and where you can get a copy yourself.

    • The first set there are seven different cards, one set for each album (so there are 7 cards that you can only get in Eyes, 7 that you can only get in On, and 7 that you can only get in You). There is 1 of each member for each version.
    • The second photo card you can get 1 of seven – This is across all versions
    • The third one is the same as the second: 7 cards, across all versions

• The photo albums overall, are so fantastic and retro, they’re like a twist of modern, and like something out of full house (especially the cover of “On”). Every photo has a polaroid vibe to it, and it really matches GOT7 style shift into a more mature sound.

K-Points: 923/5

This is the kind of packaging that makes super fans go nuts, as it has so many little pieces that are customized on it: you have the inside of the photo jacket, the lyric poster, the photo cards, and if you pre-ordered, there are different photo stickers, as well as the chance for a fun pass thing. The super iGOT7s would buy like 50 of these until they get what they want. I, on the other hand, although I am a massive GOT7 fan, I don’t have a bias in Got7. I love them all equally, despite the fact that the KPop gods want me to be in love with JinYoung because they give me him every time! Honestly, JYP went all out for this one, and on top of that, the members produced it all themselves.

Should you buy a copy of this album? Absolutely. The music is great (you can read about my thoughts on it here). The photos are great. I love it all.  If you can only buy 1 version, go for the “On” version the cover is my favorite, and all of the photos are really bright and colorful. I don’t have anything against the other two versions, and I like all of them, but this one just stands out to me the most. I, personally, bought all 3, because GOT7 is one of my favorite KPop groups, and it would drive me nuts to only have one, especially when all of the music is so good, and they are making me so proud, doing so much of the production themselves to the point that even JYP mentioned it on Weekly Idol. Good job boys!
