Akdong Musician (AKMU) has always been a group I appreciate for their creative lyrics, as well as their music as a whole. Since the sibling pair is finally back with new music, all of which happen to be collaborations, I felt like I needed to get a copy of their new AKMU Next Episode: Collaboration Album. Things to know about the AKMU Next Episode: Collaboration Album:
AKMU is made up of the brother-sister pair, Lee Changhyuk and Lee Suhyun. This is the groups first album release is nearly 2 years and it debuted at number 3 on the Gaon album charts. A week after that, the album’s single 낙가 (Nakka) with IU reached number one on the album charts. The song Nakka is also nominated for Best Collaborations and Best Musical Performance at the 23rd Annual MNet Asian Music Awards which is scheduled for December 11th.

I really love that AKMU did a full album of collaborations. It is something that we don’t see very often in K-Pop. They also picked some amazing artists to collaborate with as well. For these reasons alone, getting this album is an excellent choice.
