Although not technically K-Pop, Lay does happen to be a member of one of my absolute favorite K-Pop groups, EXO. Due to Korean-Chinese relations, as well as his schedule in China, Lay hasn’t been able to participate in many of EXO’s group activities. That being said, he did appear in a special release of EXO’s Tempo album. His roots are in K-Pop, and he has a fond place in my heart so we are going to talk about it.

I’m not going to lie, when I got this album and saw the tarot deck, I basically freaked out. I actually love tarot, crystals, and all of that “woo” stuff. As such, this album spoke to me on an emotional level. I also really loved his interpretation of all of the major arcana, as it was artistically done, but he also displayed the essence of the card, well at least the Rider-Waite interpretation of the card.
So should you get yourself a copy of this album? The music on Lay Namanana is fantastic, and you get a major arcana tarot deck too! It’s a really neat album that I would definitely recommend. Should you stream it? Albums are expensive, so if there is another artist you like more, obviously get their album first, unless you are a fan of tarot.
