I am truly shocked that I haven’t posted a review on this product sooner! I have probably gone through 3 or 4 bottles of this, and it is a staple in my skincare routine. Today, we are going to be talking about the Hanskin Hyluron Skin Essence. Keep reading to find out what is in the formula, my and the Korean thoughts, as well as, and where you can buy it yourself.
Things to know about Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence:
This product is formulated with the following ingredients that are good for your skin:
- Glycerin makes the skin appear more youthful, strengthens the skin barrier and enhances the penetration of other ingredients in the product. This is teh second ingredient in the product, after water.
- Linseed Extract is a soothing ingredient that is full of Omega-3 fatty acids. It enhances the skin’s hydration and will help pull other ingredients into deeper layers of the skin.
- Hydrolyzed Collagen is an excellent ingredient that increases the elasticity and hydration of the skin. It can also help prevent wrinkles
- Zostera Marina Extract aids in keeping the skin firm and luminous
- Sodium Hyaluronate, also known as a derivative of hyaluronic acid, is a phenomenal ingredient that draws water to the skin. It will make your skin feel luminous and soft as well as help improve fine lines and wrinkles.
This product is formulated with the following ingredients that are “bad” for your skin:
- Phenoxyethanol – preservative used in skincare products. Some may be allergic to it. That being said, this ingredient is the last ingredient on the ingredient list
K-Points: 10/10
So, for beauty reviews, unlike my album unboxings, I will be much harsher on because this can directly impact your health, where buying K-Pop albums does not. It just impacts your wallet. As such, all of my beauty reviews will be out of 10 points. I will not be going over that number.
Based on the fact that I have gone through 4 bottles of this, I have to give this product a perfect score. It is absolutely amazing. It keeps my skin plump and fresh. On top of that, the ingredient list for this product is amazing. The formulation of the Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence is so clean and lovely. The only “bad” thing in it is the preservative at the end of the ingredient list. I cannot recommend this product more.
What are the Koreans saying?
I was digging through reviews on 화해**, a Korean skincare app that lists out the ingredients of products from many brands for people to look through as well as post reviews. From what I have read, this product has amazing reviews It has no fragrance, and from what I can see, no one has any true negatives. More importantly, the ingredient list is quite short and clean, so the probability of a negative reaction is quite low. It looks like they are as impressed with this product as me.
Where Can I Buy It?
Whenever I buy K-Beauty, I do shop at a couple of different places. If you want to see all of the places that I shop at, you can check them all out here. You can pick this product up at Ulta for $25 here. With Ulta, you can also use Rakuten for cash back off of your purchases on their site. The percentage change varies, but when writing this post, it was at 2% back, but I have seen it at 10 or more at times.
What is Rakuten?
Rakuten is a cashback site that gives you money for purchases you may have already made. They even have an extension for multiple browsers so when you go to a website that uses Rakuten, it will automatically pop up the cashback button to make sure you are saving money. I use this all the time, and I got over $80 back from them for purchases I was going to make anyway. That’s about 3 more albums I can buy!
If you’ve never used Rakuten before, you can use this link to get $10 when making a qualified purchase of $25 when using Rakuten. You will also get whatever percent cashback is being offered from the site you are purchasing from. Sephora, typically has 4% cashback, through here. Ulta typically has 3%. These are just some of the companies on the website, but there are other major retailers on there as well!
Rakuten also has a Google Chrome extension that will tell you as soon as you log onto a site that has cashback with a little pop-up in the corner so that you can ensure you are saving money!
