Snackfever has arrived this month, which means my need for snacks will be satiated. I will not lie, of late, I have not purchased snacks, and simply wait for my Snackfever boxes to get here. They always last me a while. Also, I have only tried a snack that I didn’t like once. This post will be short, sweet and to the point.
Snackfever is a snack subscription service. It is run by Korean Americans, and it was initially shipped out of California. Now, they ship straight from Korea to your front door. If you want snacks that are yummy, and not as high in calories as American snacks, go for this. If you want to see what was in some of my previous boxes, you can read about my January box here. I did get them for other months as well. The boxes were stopped by the American government, and were too delayed to post about. Thanks America.
What is in the Box?
In the SnackFever Deluxe Box last month, I got the following:
- Couque D’Asse (coffee flavored cookies)
- 2 peach whoopie pies
- Mango jellies (which were delicious!)
- Yogurt candies
- 4 peach candies
- Korean bubble tape. It has adorable elephants on the package.
- Small box of Milk Caramel Chocolates. I like these because they aren’t too large, and individually wrapped.
- Potato cracker stick things called Koo-oon Kamja (구운감자)
- Honey butter chips (which are amazing)
- Bushyeo Bushyeo (뿌셔뿌셔). This is uncooked ramen that comes in different flavors. You are supposed to smash the package while closed, and let the flavoring go all over them. If you would like to see a demonstration of how to squash the things, SHINee will demonstrate for you here. (Please click that link. You will not regret it).
- Shrimp chips. These are an acquired taste. I didn’t like them at first, but one day, I started craving them. I then questioned my American-ness
- Hot chicken flavored rice puffs
They also give you cute little freebies. This month’s deluxe box included:
- Macaron shaped sticky notes
- Pen
- Sticker and postcard set of Twice
- SnackFever sticker that says Spring in Korean (봄)
I was quite happy with this month’s box. They had a number of really good sweet snacks, as well as salty ones. I was pleasantly surprised. You can pick up your own SnackFever subscription here. They offer 2 box sizes:
- Original
- Deluxe
I get the Deluxe. It is a few bucks more, but it is definitely worth it. It is the perfect amount to last you a month, as well as share a little bit with your friends!
