We have finally reached the final part of my SHINee 10th anniversary release! This has been a long time in the making (almost two months, actually). Today, we finally have SHINee Story of Light EP.3 unboxing for you all. If you would like to read all of the other posts, you can do so here. Before we get into the nitty gritty, I want to tell you all a fun little story. I have a habit of frequenting Korean restaurants, because it is delicious (duh). I walked into one of the places where I will typically order bibimbap from because, yet again, it’s delicious. Besides the one lady who works there, I am pretty sure that the people who work there do not know I speak Korean. This lady knows because I believe she heard me talking to my friend in it. She chuckled when my friend accidentally responded to her in Korean instead of English.
So, standing there, waiting for my deliciousness, and SHINee Story of Light EP.3 comes on. As any K-Pop fan should, I started humming the song. You all should have seen the shock on the guy’s face that I knew SHINee. They all then discussed for a few minutes how impressed they were that I knew SHINee (in Korean). They still are not aware that I speak Korean, but they all know who I am now. I am the tall, blonde girl who knows SHINee.

Things to know about SHINee Story of Light EP.3:
- There is only 1 version of this album
- Despite that, there are 2 other parts to the release, all initially released at 2 week intervals. These parts are:
- hings that come with the album:
- CD
- 16 page lyric book
- 2 random photo cards:
- One full group, 3 versions
- One individual member, 4 versions
- 64 page photo book
- The horizontal photo card has little messages from all 4 members, so no matter what you get a message from all members.
- All of the lyric books for these, when put together make foxes walking across the scene, like the first piece matches up with the second, etc.
- The first part’s primary color was red. Part 2 was yellow. And just like I expected, this one is blue.
- The photo book for EP.3 seems like it is a continuation of EP.1 and EP.2, like some of the photos are taken from similar locations. It also looks like
- I like how the CD is held in with the foam insert, and how it is ‘set” into the cardboard, with a notch to pull it out.
- Yet again, just like EP.1 and EP.2 I do not like how the cardboard insert can be pulled out and isn’t glued in

Just like EP.1 and EP.2, I am deducting points from this album for the cardboard insert that isn’t glued in. Yes, I know I am picky, but it is a necessary level of picky. If I am going to spend money on something, I appreciate it when it is well thought out. Either way, I do really enjoy this album and having it in my collection. It is a really solid piece of music.
Should you purchase a copy of this album? Yes, but I wouldn’t make it a top priority one. I have a feeling that SHINee will probably be repackaging all three EPs as one album in the next few months, potentially with a bonus song or two to convince people to buy it. So, wait before you buy it. For now, I would just stream it.
