It’s about time that the one remaining EXO member who isn’t in the military came out with solo work! I was so excited when it was announced that Kai was finally coming out with his new music, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. As such, all of the copies of Kai (开): The First Mini-Album had to make it into my collection.

Since this post is actually an unboxing of the album, let’s actually talk about that. I picked up my copy of this album Music Plaza LA. You can get a copy here for 27.99$, plus shipping. Quite frankly, I love the style of this album. That being said, with Kai being the artist who made this album, I’m not shocked about the creative twist he took with the books. They are incredibly artsy and unconventional, and I think that they are all really neat!
So should you get yourself a copy of this album? If you are like me and are a huge fan of EXO, I definitely think that you should. As mentioned above, the style of the album is really unique, and different. It really allows Kai to shine. Should you stream it? Absolutely! I love all of the songs on the mini-album, and they completely reflect Kai’s aesthetic.
