BTS is a group that I have been following since a year or two after their debut. I have always been so excited to see the group get so popular abroad, but I’ve always missed the style of some of their earlier stuff. So, when it was announced that BTS was going to be taking some time to focus on their own personal music, I was very excited. Things to know about the in The Astronaut The First Single Album:
Jin’s first single album ‘The Astronaut’ was released by BigHit Entertainment on October 28th, 2022. Written by Jin with the help of the British band, Cold Play, the track was written ahead of Jin’s military enlistment as a gift to the fans. The single album sold over 700,000 copies on release day – the highest number of sales for any solo artist on a release day in the chart’s history. To this date, that album has sold over a million copies. The single also charted in 20 different countries, and made it onto the year-end charts in 20 countries.

I always love getting singles or albums that are dedicated to the fans when the members go into the military. They are always so heartfelt and add so much more color to all of the artists I know who have done them. I really love how this album comes with multiple types of stickers, as well as a photo card and a postcard. On top of that, the photo book is a pretty good side for a single album. The most important thing that this checks the box off on is that the single is excellent.
