K-Goods: NCT Lightstick Unboxing

nct lightstick

Since I am going to KCON NY this weekend (leaving tomorrow morning!!!), and I am a big fan of NCT, I thought it was only appropriate that I sport the NCT lightstick for their performance at KCON NY. Show my fandom love! On top of that, if you saw the boys reactions to their lightstick online, they were hilarious, and would make you want to buy one online as well. Just look at those hilarious faces…

Since I needed this lightstick early on, as I’m going to KCON, I actually picked this up from a Korean eBay seller. They do have them on Choice Music as well for $49.99, plus shipping here.

Things to know about the NCT Lightstick:

  • It’s shaped like a box, with the letters NCT all big on it.
  • It takes 3 AAA batteries
  • The battery part isn’t your typical screw on it has this complicated latch system so the bottom won’t fall off.
  • It comes with a silicone strap, with the letters NCT on the button
  • The button to turn it on also says NCT
  • The NCT Lightstick has 4 different settings:
    • On
    • Slow blink
    • Fast blink
    • Epilepsy setting
  • I will also take a moment to note, although my lightstick is perfectly fine, there are reports of some people’s being red. It is supposed to do that when the batteries are low.

K-Points: 483/5

This isn’t the best lightstick I’ve ever seen. The design is cool, but it isn’t my absolute favorite, in comparison to some of the other ones I have in my collection, like the Wanna One or SUJU one. Those are both really cool. Regardless, I am still really excited to use the lightstick, as I do love NCT and want to show my support.

Should you buy this? Only if you are a seriously big NCT fan. It is pricey, and if you aren’t a massive fan and probably won’t see them in concert, you definitely don’t need this. If you are like me though, and are a fan of NCT, it’s totally worth having.
