Wanna One (워너원) Lightstick Unboxing

wanna one lightstick

Wanna One will be at KCON at the end of the month, leading up to their world tour. As such, I bought a Wanna One lightstick to take with me to their performance. Wanna One has become one of my favorite groups since they came off of Produce 101. Their music is catchy, and they are adorable on television. Naturally, I fell the need to support them, especially Kang Daniel and Ong Sung Woo. As you may or may not know, I bought their figurines to put on my desk at work. They are adorable and I love them.  I also own all of their albums (you can read all of my posts on them here).

I picked up my Wanna One lightstick at Choice Music for $47.99 plus shipping and handling.  It was definitely pricey, but it will be great to have it at the concert. On Amazon, it is a little bit more expensive for the official lightstick. It cost $54.90 there. With the shipping difference, it might be cheaper. You can see that on Amazon here It is eligible for free Prime shipping. If you haven’t used Prime. It is amazing. It saves me a ton of money on shipping. You can try it for 30 days free here using this link.

Things to know about the Wanna One Lightstick:

  • The box the light stick comes has their signature 1 on it in silver font
  • The inside part has all of the members names on it
  • The light stick is Bluetooth enabled to go in sync to their concert, which is cool.
  • There are 3 settings:
    • On
    • Slow blink
    • Fast blink AKA epilepsy settings
  • There is also a color change setting. I still have not figured out how to use that yet, but it apparently does that.
  • There is also an app that the lightstick can coonect to
  • The inside rim of the light stick has all of the members names on it
  • When on, the words Wanna One on the lightstick change to be the line drawing of all the ones and zeroes, like it is binary.
  • The wrist strap is made of a lanyard material, and has Wanna One printed on it.

K-Points: 546/5

I was so excited to get my hands on this lightstick. It has so many little details on it that are special to the group, and I love that it is bluetooth enabled. It really will make seeing them in concert that much more special. Let’s be honest, I’m really excited. It will be so much fun.

Do you need this light stick? Only if you are a fan of Wanna One, and are potentially seeing them in concert. If not, I would say that you should save your money for a physical copy of an album, no matter how cute the lightstick is.
